Journeyman Electrician, Industrial
IECONI hires industrial electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on water and wastewater plants, including motor control centers, control panels, transfer switches, variable frequency drives, distribution, and SCADA. The work is physically demanding. A TDLR Journeyman license is required.
Install, repair, and maintain MCCs, ATS, VFDs, SCADA, and control panels. Run cabling, conduit, cable trays, splices, and terminations. Work solo, as a team member, or as a lead. Follow safety procedures and meet electrical code. Make decisions from technical documents. Run quality testing and inspections. Estimate electrical scope with a detailed bill of material. Assemble panels and motor control centers. Work within a multicraft crew on mechanical, electrical, and minor civil for water and wastewater plants.
Journeymen able to lead apprentices and work from drawings. Awareness of NEC and NFPA codes and state and local regulations. Able to manage the work and make decisions independently.
