Project Engineer

$80,000/year

Full-time
About the Role

IECONI is seeking a Project Engineer to run construction on water and wastewater treatment plants from start to finish. You own schedule, budget, and quality on facilities that have to perform for decades, not just pass inspection. You will be on site to see the work through.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Manage construction projects for water and wastewater plants across planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Build construction plans and schedules that hold up against real site conditions. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to keep execution moving. Run site inspections and quality control so the work meets specification and code. Track progress, report to project managers and clients, and resolve construction issues as they surface. Hold the line on safety and environmental compliance. Support bid proposals and estimates.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Engineers who can carry a project from start to finish. People who read drawings against the site and catch mistakes before they snowball. Strong project management and leadership, comfortable working independently and inside a crew.

WHAT WE OFFER

Medical, dental, and vision, 401(k), paid time off, and room to grow

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Minimum five years in construction management, focused on water and wastewater treatment plants
Working knowledge of construction practices, standards, and codes for water and wastewater plants
Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
EIT preferred
Able to travel to project sites as needed
