About the Role

The Utilities Superintendent supervises civil and mechanical work on IECONI's water and wastewater sites, often across more than one site at a time. The role plans the work from the drawings, directs the foremen running each crew, and works hands-on when the job calls for it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Review drawings and build the execution plan. Coordinate equipment with procurement. Work with inspection agencies to meet codes and specifications. Manage crew leads and foremen across roles and sites. Execute to plan and meet billing targets. Coordinate with accounting to keep vendors paid. Run weekly client meetings and report progress. Lead weekly job safety meetings and maintain safe practice on site.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Field leaders with experience running concrete and mechanical work in water and wastewater and managing multiple crews. Knowledge of AWWA standards and structures including lift stations, treatment plant structures, and ground storage tank foundations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Concrete and Mechanical Foreman in water and wastewater
Demonstrated leadership across multiple crews
Concrete experience in vertical, flatwork, and industrial structures (lift stations, treatment plant structures, ground storage tank foundations)
Experience erecting mechanical piping, valves, generators, and heavy equipment
Knowledge of AWWA standards
Able to operate excavator, dozer, grader, and all-terrain forklift or cherry picker
